Monument at the site of the killing of the Jews of Riebiņi in Aizupieši Forest
Most of them - several hundred Jews from Riebiņi and the surrounding area - were shot on 23 August 1941 in the Aizupieši Forest. In 1955, victims’ relatives unveiled a monument - a black granite obelisk with an inscription in Russian: "In Eternal Memory of the Jews of Riebiņi who tragically perished at the hands of the German-Fascist occupiers on August 23, 1941. From their relatives."
