The house “Pie Plica” is the oldest wooden building in Preili. The building can be considered a typical example of eclecticism: it has preserved many original construction details to this day. Various household items, paintings and photographs by Igors Plics can be seen in the rooms on both floors. A roadside chapel was built in the garden, which is the smallest church in Latvia –it is open to everyone, regardless of religious affiliation. Roadside Chapel, the smallest church in Latvia in “Plica sata” The roadside chapel, which was consecrated on April 15, 2007, is the smallest church in Latvia. The idea of building the chapel came to the photographer Igors Plics during his visit to Canada, seeing roadside chapels there. The church is open to every visitor.
